Convocation festival (Fesko) was held twice a year. The convocation which been held during second semester every session will be a small one and the first semester will be a big one. For the big Fesko (which has the odd numbers), it's one of the Student Representative Council annual program. The Vice President (Activity) will be the Director of Fesko. However, for Fesko49, the campus election hadn't taken place yet. So, one of the Rakan Hema should handled the program. The director of Fesko49 was Wan Frany Muhtaddin, the secretary of Rakan Hema.
Fesko is all about celebrating the graduates. A lot of activities were organized during the program such as MasterChef, Run for Makna, Blood donation, Happy Hour, Autoshow and many more. The opening ceremony was officiated by UTM Chancellor, HRH Tuanku Raja Zarith Sofiah binti Al-Marhum Sultan Idris Shah whereas the closing ceremony was officiated by UTM Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic and International), Professor Dr Rose Alinda Alias.
During Fesko49, I was the Head of Meals and Hygiene Unit. Everyone was happy about the meals which was delicious. Thanks to Mak Long Cafe at KDSE, Mak Jah Cafe and KRP Cafe. The price for the foods were also quite rational and the taste was good. For the hygiene part, we received a few tenders and chose the Sinecs group to take care the cleanliness of the site.
My unit consist of me as the head, Alison George, Nur Afiq bin Amir Baki, Mohamad Zaki bin Sejali and Ali Imran Sairi bin Aiznin Sairi.
